Welcome to Offset (fifteen).

Fifteen years in the publishing business is a great milestone for any organisation. For a creative arts journal such as Offset, which is produced entirely by third-year College of Arts students, this is an amazing achievement, and a testament to Victoria University's dedication to the arts community.

This same community has shown its support to Offset with the journal receiving a whopping 430 submissions this year–the highest number of submissions ever.

Our feature contributors, Oscar Schwartz, Jackie Ralph and Terra, lead you into a creative world as varied as our community. We also acknowledge the generous and continued support of our sponsors and partners as a vital part of our ongoing existence.

The landscape of publishing is changing; Offset is surviving because we move and bend with the times. We have taken on the challenges of new technologies and have created a hybrid feast of prose, poetry, art and music for you to enjoy at your leisure. We also continue our expansion into e-publishing with our Open Access journal.

Through these pages and beyond, we invite you to immerse yourself within our diverse literary landscape, or connect through to our online content to access film and music through our multi-media channel.

Read, see, listen and watch–Offset (fifteen).
